Yizkor Book (Book of Remembrance)

Romemu’s annual Yizkor Book — Book of Remembrance – is a traditional way to honor the names of loved ones passed and make a charitable donation to Romemu at the same time. The printed book will be distributed on Yom Kippur to those attending onsite and a digital version will be shared with all those attending online. Please fill out this form to have the names of your loved ones listed in this year’s Book of Remembrance for our Yom Kippur Yizkor service.

Names must be submitted by August 29th for inclusion in the book.

This year, to help you honor the memories of those you cherish, you may include as many names as you wish for a single donation.  In addition, gifts of $1,000 or more will place your loved ones in our Perpetual Memorial which will ensure the names of your loved ones will be maintained in our Book for years to come.

While donations are greatly appreciated, no names will be turned away for lack of contribution.

HELP KEEP ROMEMU HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

As part of Romemu’s commitment to inclusivity, we strive to make our High Holy Day services financially accessible.  Many of our members pay reduced dues through our Ez’rah program and many people receive additional support for other programming.

Discretionary giving (e.g. giving above membership dues) supports over 50% of everything we do. Every song, every prayer, every word of wisdom, every heart connection made at Romemu happens because of a charitable gift from someone like you.

Please consider a tax-deductible contribution in any amount. No gift is too small or large. Your Tzedakah (righteous giving) and Hesed (loving-kindness) will help ensure that every spiritual seeker is able to join Romemu for the High Holy Days and other services and programs all year long.

Please consider a tax-deductible contribution in any amount. No gift is too small or large.

Membership Dues and Membership Status

The form is showing I owe dues, but I pay monthly. Why am I seeing this?

While we provide the option to pay dues in a lump sum or to split them into monthly payments, dues are assessed annually. If you have been paying monthly, but see a dues charge on your form, that means your current monthly payment plan is for the balance of your 2023/24 membership year dues. In order to register for the High Holy Days, you must renew for the current 2024/25 membership year.  If you have questions or need assistance with renewing, please contact membership@romemu.org.

I don’t know if I need to pay dues. How do I find out?

If you have not paid 2025/26 dues, when you go to the High Holy Day registration form, the amount you owe will be on the form. You can pay this amount or start a payment plan for it when you submit the registration form.
