Seekers: Saturday Morning Hebrew School
Seekers is a bright spark for children and young adults that ignites curiosity, unleashes creativity, and grows communal consciousness.
Seekers provides the Jewish education our kids need to find meaningful connections to Jewish life and practice. At Romemu, all of us, including our children, are seekers. We encourage our Seekers students and families to find their own voices within the ancient and ongoing conversation of Judaism through contemplation, creativity, and community.
Seekers is a weekly program for students in Kindergarten – B Mitzvah. Meeting Saturdays 10AM–12:30PM from September to May, Seekers students spend time learning about Jewish values, such as Betzelem Elohim, Tzedek, Tikkun Olam, and Chesed, and engaging in Jewish texts through the stories of the Torah and tales of Jewish heroes throughout history. Hebrew is also woven through the Seekers curriculum with weekly lessons.
Students of all backgrounds, cultures, and gender identities are welcome. Prior Jewish education is not required to join the Seekers community.

Family Shabbat
Once a month, we hold a Seekers Family Shabbat where students and their families are invited to experience Seekers together through learning, prayer, and community.
New and prospective families, siblings, and grandparents are also welcome and encouraged to join monthly Family Shabbatot – membership is not required.
Seekers Tuition and Registration
Seekers tuition is $1900 for the full school year. Families with multiple children in Seekers will receive a $50 discount for each child enrolled. Refer another family and get a $100 discount on your tuition. Registration after September 30 will require a $50 late fee.
