Current Members – Renew Your Membership for Another Year

Thank you for being a member of Romemu.

We ask members to renew their commitment to Romemu each year. When you renew, we offer you options for deepening your relationship with your community through committing to continue your involvement and (optionally) selecting ways in which you will donate your time and talents to deepen and weave connections with other members.

Visit the Romemu Membership Portal to view your current account status, make payments, update your personal information, share your contact information in our Membership Directory, and more. Need help logging in? Email membership@romemu.org.

Renewing today will ensure you continue to have access to all Romemu member benefits.

The Romemu Annual Membership Cycle

All Romemu memberships include access to services for one cycle of High Holy Days (i.e. one year of membership includes onsite or online attendance for one year at Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services). If you joined Romemu for High Holy Day services as a member in September of 2023 and have not renewed your membership since, it is time to renew.

While you always have the option to pay your membership in monthly installments, dues are assessed annually.

All members who have not renewed by June 30 will receive an invoice for their 2024/25 dues in July.

Changing Your Membership Pathway

When you renew, you choose whether you want to stay on your current membership pathway or choose a new one. You may want to choose a new pathway if you:

  • want to join the Romemu בונים/Builders at the Sustainer ($6,400+), Minyan ($10,000+), or Chai ($18,000+) level(learn more here)
  • have been a Romemu Friend with limited benefits and want to become a local or global member with full benefits
  • previously had Ez’rah (financial help through dues reduction) and no longer require this assistance
  • moved to the NY area and want to continue your connection to Romemu as local member

View all pathways here.

Memberships Not on Our Annual Cycle

Because we want to ensure anyone can join at anytime, we allow members to join or renew outside of our regular cycle which may place your membership expiration at a date other than June 30. If you joined or renewed your membership after the High Holy Days in 2023, you will receive your renewal invoice on the anniversary of the date you joined or renewed.

If you need assistance to renew, contact membership@romemu.org for assistance.

You can view your transaction history to see the status of your current membership anytime in our Membership Portal here.
