Multi-Faith Initiatives

As part of Romemu’s commitment to “widen the tent” and in recognition of the diversity of our community, the Multi-Faith Initiatives program at Romemu seeks to support and nourish interfaith couples and families, those who identify with other religious traditions, those who grew up Jewish and still feel a “stranger” at times in Jewish settings, and the “multi-faith curious.”   We seek to meet the needs of these groups by providing pastoral, educational, social, and spiritual programing.  We also seek to expand the centrality of deep respect for all faith traditions, knowing that the diversity of traditions and practices in our midst is a gift that can strengthen and support us all in living holy lives.

Monthly “Strangers No More” Discussion Series

November 18, 2020 – Series Session #3: Our Faith Journeys – Where You’ve Come From, Where You’re Going
Join the Strangers No More/Multi-Faith community at Romemu for our third session of the year. Tonight we will share our spiritual journeys with one another: each unique, and yet all converging through Strangers No More in this moment. Through experiential, creative, contemplative and conversational exercises, we will explore where we have been, where we are, and where we long to go.
This is a wonderfully diverse part of the Romemu community and a safe, non-judgmental setting to explore together. Newcomers expected!
This series is free and open to all, and while we hope you will attend all of the discussions throughout the year for continuity’s sake, it is not required.
Please email here to register. Zoom link provided upon registration.
