Joseph S. Ingber Rabbinic Fellowship Program

The JSI Rabbinic Fellowship Program, along with the Romemu Yeshiva, was developed to transmit Romemu’s unique blend of Jewish mystical and Hassidic text study, contemplative practices, and dynamic prayer.  The fellows observe and participate in many aspects of synagogue life, including helping to organize and lead prayer services, classes, and community events under the supervision of the senior rabbi and clergy team.

After closing our physical doors on March 15, 2020, Romemu quickly pivoted to opening our virtual ones. Doing so allowed our community members a portal to seek and receive support, guidance, and community. Even as we have returned to more onsite services and programs, so many have found deep solace in Jewish spiritual practice and, in the face of uncertainty, remain safe, sane, and connected to the community.

Part of what has made our virtual experience so rich for so many is the presence and davening leadership of our remarkable JSI Rabbinic Fellows.
