Onsite COVID Safety Policies
Policy Effective Friday, March 29, 2022
We continue to monitor the COVID situation and may update our policies as circumstances evolve.
Policies for Attendees at All Romemu Onsite Services and Programs
Vaccine Policy
- Vaccination is no longer required to attend services, courses and most programs
- Vaccination is required for any indoor event that includes eating or drinking.
- Anyone who is not fully vaccinated, including a booster shot if eligible, must wear a well-fitting KN95 or N95 mask at all times
- Therefore, if you are not fully vaccinated you may not attend indoor events involving eating during which you would need to unmask
Masking Policy
We offer 2 seating sections for Shabbat and holiday services:
- Masks required section
- Masks optional section
Additional Policies
- Anyone with symptoms that are not clearly due to another cause such as allergies should not come onsite
- Anyone who has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should wear an N95, KN95 or KF94 mask that is well-fitting.
- If you test positive for COVID-19 do not come to a program or service. Follow quarantine and isolation protocols.
- Anyone who has attended a service or program at Romemu who subsequently tests positive for COVID should inform us as soon as possible through confidential@romemu.org. All information will be kept confidential. Our contract tracing protocols will then go into effect.
Policies for Clergy, Musicians & Congregants Receiving Honors
- Masking and testing is no longer required.
- You may choose to mask at any time.
- Anyone with symptoms should not come onsite
- Anyone who has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should wear an N95, KN95 or KF94 mask that is well-fitting.
- It is recommended to stay up to date with vaccines.You are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines when you have followed the current recommendations. The
recommendations will be different depending on your age, your health status, and when you first got vaccinated. - If you test positive for COVID-19 do not come to services or the Romemu Center. Follow quarantine and isolation protocols.
- Please inform confidential@romemu.org of any positive COVID test result. All information will be kept confidential.
- If someone tests positive for COVID, contract tracing protocols will then go into effect.
- If returning from a trip follow current CDC Guidelines for travel.
