Scholars often compare the Torah to a well and its words to water—drawn from a deep place, this water can refresh and sustain all who seek it.
Torah study at Romemu is central to our spiritual journey. The Well, our program of educational offerings, provides learning opportunities for seekers at every level.
Regardless of your education or religious background, our programs welcome newcomers while also deepening the knowledge and practice of all Jewish learners, guiding participants toward living with holiness in challenging times.

Inviting God In: A Guide to Jewish Prayer

January 13, 7:30 p.m at Romemu HI Youth Hostel
At a time when many struggle to find relevance in prayer, Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin, Rabbi Rachel Ain, and Rabbi David Ingber invite us to rediscover what it means to experience God in daily life.
In a cross denominational dialogue, we explore prayer and worship and how we find meaning in them. Through personal reflection, Jewish wisdom, and contemporary stories, Rabbi Salkin shows how opening ourselves to the divine can deepen our relationships, our sense of purpose, and our moral
courage. Join them for a heartfelt conversation about spirituality that is rooted in liturgy yet speaks powerfully to modern seekers.
Book Signing will be held after the program. Musical presentation by Sacred Sparks.

Jewish Recovery Fellowship: 12 Step

Romemu is reopening our Jewish recovery fellowship for anyone seeking freedom from addiction of any kind.
What it is: An anonymous 12-step group following the traditions of AA, drawing on Jewish spiritual wisdom from Jewish 12-step recovery texts, Torah, Mussar teachings, and other Jewish wisdom throughout the ages.
Who it’s for: Anyone struggling with addiction—whether you’re at the beginning of your journey, have been sober for years, months, or are taking it one day at a time. Anyone supporting someone in recovery. Anyone seeking a Jewish perspective on the 12 steps. Jewish or not, you’re welcome.
We’re just starting: Join our WhatsApp group to help build this community. We’re planning to meet in person once or several times monthly.
