Matanot L'evyonim (Gifts to People in Need)
It is preferable to spend more on gifts to the poor (matanot l’evyonim) than on the Purim meal or on presents (mishloah manot) to friends. For there is no joy greater or more glorious than the joy of gladdening the hearts of the poor and the strangers.
Mishneh Torah, Laws of Purim 2:17
The Romemu Community Food Pantry fulfills this important mitzvah throughout the year, providing thousands of meals to our neighbors in need. Your gift this Purim will ensure the pantry can continue its essential work.
Every gift helps provide meals for those in need & opportunities for members of our community to serve.
No gift is too large or too small.
