Join us for Shabbat
Prayer is the expression of a yearning heart for what it lacks. The pre-prayer heart and the post-prayer heart are different.
Romemu services combine traditional liturgy with chanting, meditation, spontaneous dance, joyous song, and a rich, imaginative Torah service that brings the weekly wisdom to life.
All are welcome.

Sponsored Shabbat Dinners & Lunches
In honor of various smachot (celebrations) or other occasions, members and others often choose to sponsor a Shabbat dinner or Shabbat lunch. There is no registration required for these and everyone is welcome. If you would like to sponsor a Shabbat meal in honor of a simcha, to commemorate a yahrzeit, or for any reason, please contact laureng@romemu.org.
Every visit, every Shabbat is magical. If you are going to New York, do not leave without a visit to a Romemu Shabbat service.

Shabbat Greeters - Volunteers Wanted
Shabbat Greeters to help us ensure that everyone feels welcome when they enter. Shabbat Greeters provide a welcoming smile and wishes of “Shabbat Shalom,” and that welcome adds to the Shabbat experience. Greeting people is an easy way to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Greeters are asked to arrive at services 20 minutes early to be ready to welcome all spiritual seekers as they arrive at our doors. A Romemu staff member will greet you when you arrive and help you prepare to greet others.
