The Leining Games
In conjunction with our upcoming Spring 2025 Lifelong Learning programming, join Romemu for The Leining Games! We encourage everybody to join our leining competition, the winner will receive a custom made tallit (with runners up also receiving various prizes).
When: Every Shabbat Morning (starting 3/1)
Where: West End Presbyterian
The Rules:
- First leiner to reach 100 points wins
- Experienced leiners receive 1 point per pesuk
- VERY experienced leiners receive .5 point per pes
- New leiners receive 3 points per pesuk
- All leiners recieve 10 additional points for attending Rabbi Marcelle Hohl’s upcoming leining class (learn more here)

The 1st place winner will receive a custom designed tallis from Ben’s Tallit Shop, but all participants will receive prizes and be honored at a The Leining Games Kiddush to take place in May.
