Torah (Wisdom)
Engaging at Romemu offers two blessings: master teachers, and partners-in-learning who are diversely educated, spiritually sensitive, and open to the impact of Jewish wisdom.
Romemu is dedicated to continuing the work of Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi Z’L through the teachings of Rabbi Ingber, one of his leading disciples. Romemu is creating a new kind of post-denominational Jewish ethic and practice, erasing the barriers between ancient Jewish wisdom and modern, progressive sensibilities, between Eastern and Western spiritual practices, between head-centered and heart-centered spirituality.
Our centers of learning create a living laboratory for people of all ages and from all backgrounds for the reinvention and reinvigoration of Jewish ritual, thought, and daily living.
Choose from daily, weekly and monthly classes to find the course of study that meets you where you are on your spiritual journey.
The Well at Romemu offers a broad range of adult-educational offerings for Romemu members and all spiritual seekers. Regardless of your education or religious background, Well programs are designed to welcome those new to Romemu, as well as those looking to deepen their knowledge and practice of Romemu’s unique approach to Jewish life and practice.
Seekers Holistic Hebrew School provides a holistic approach to encourage children and their families to find their own voices within the ancient and ongoing conversation of Judaism through contemplation, creativity, and community.
The Romemu Digital Learning Library provides access to Romemu learning to people all over the world. Currently the Library houses a limited assortment of sermons, classes, and other educational materials from Rabbi Ingber, other Romemu clergy, and guest lecturers. We are expanding the Library and look forward to this being an extensive resource for life-long learning.
